Golf physiotherapy at LIFT Physiotherapy starts with a personalised movement assessment, followed by tailored exercise programs, one-on-one training, or manual therapy to help your body move more efficiently - and to improve your performance and lower your handicap.
We work with golfers of all abilities, from weekend enthusiasts to touring professionals. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or looking to enhance your game, our golf physiotherapy sessions assess and address the areas that need improvement to support better movement, strength, and swing mechanics.
All consultations are claimable through private health insurance.
With clinics in Helensvale and Southport, LIFT Physiotherapy is one of the few facilities on the Gold Coast offering specialised golf physiotherapy, combining expert physiotherapy with performance-focused training.
The Golf Physio Pathway
What is a Golf-Specific Movement Screen?
Everyone begins with a 1-hour, golf-specific movement screen. This comprehensive assessment looks in depth at your mobility, coordination, strength, and power. Josh will identify your strengths and weaknesses and clearly explain how these are influencing your golf swing in an easy-to-understand way.
Following the assessment, a tailored treatment and performance plan is created to address your findings and support your goals. If desired, Josh can also liaise directly with your swing coach to ensure a coordinated approach. Family members and coaches are welcome to attend these sessions.
